"It should not be forgotten that man is originally a living being, an animal, and in social terms as complex as a mixture of civilizations. The myth, history and imagination in the film is based upon this focal idea." Mehmet Salih Demir (Director

SUMMARY

İbrahim's good friend Cano has disappeared, and it is up to İbrahim to find out what happened. This quirky, inventive film is the latest to emerge from the exciting new Diyarbakır indie scene.

Many people fantasize about leaving everything behind, but only a few actually do. One morning İbrahim receives a phone call informing him his close friend Cano has disappeared. At first, İbrahim continues with his usual routine. Once he notices everyone else remains indifferent, he begins to look more closely into his friend's strange disappearance. At the same time, he is troubled by a failing love affair. Unable to find Cano in the city, he decides to go to the village where his friend was born and grew up. His search transforms into a way of understanding both İbrahim's life and his own. !f viewers are familiar with the recent micro-budget, DIY films of fellow Diyarbakır indie filmmaker Ali Kemal Çınar; Cano heralds the arrival of a new and inspiring cinematic voice.
