"I didn't set out to make something that was a satire or a commentary. I just really enjoyed creating an intricate world, and creating the interactions and the characters -making them do silly, extreme things." Steve Oram (Director)
Romeo and Juliet meets Planet of the Apes `in the vein of John Waters`.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if human beings were to behave like apes? Well, Steve Oram, a famous British actor and writer, did resulting in a surreal horror comedy! Although the question does not stand out as very original or creative, the answer is shockingly striking and unique. In an imaginary world, which looks just like ours, with the same houses, the same clothes, silly video games, cooking programs, and parties. The only difference is that people living in this world do not communicate using words. Instead, they grunt and whoop. The not too complex story revolves around a small family unit, whose balance is upset by two out-of-town newcomers. Aaaaaaaah! will challenge your film watching habits as a very bold experimental debut wandering not on the outskirts but at the very heart of ill humour and outrageous vulgarity.
